Allow client admins to designate a course as "assigned"

We want to expose users to all University content if they have a UNI license, but the current UI can look overwhelming to some users. If a client admin has created a cohort to ensure users complete certain courses, those courses can get lost if users also have access to some of the 'free' content in that cohort as well. It may be helpful for client admins to mark courses as 'assigned' so users understand what courses are considered optional by their organization and which are expected to be completed. It may also help to be able to filter on 'assigned' courses when running a report.

Hi Megan, I understand that, however, a custom cohort would not solve for more common scenarios where we do not  want to restrict a user's view of the free content. It would be helpful to allow a user to see all courses (the full value of the subscription), but somehow when viewing the list of all available courses, visually denote which of those courses have been assigned to them by their administrator as required work.

Mary, This can be accomplished by creating a custom cohort that does not include the free courses. You would just move the user from the default cohort into this custom one where they do not see the free courses.
