Enable non-developers to check accessibility in mobile apps

A client is using Access Assistant for their website and Continuum for their mobile apps. On the web, this allows their product managers, UX designers, and developers to use the same tool and collaborate with each other on accessibility. However, only their developers can currently run the checker for their mobile apps.

The client’s request is to give non-developers similar accessibility checking capability for mobile apps.

    Hi Mitchell,

The Continuum Scripting Framework is a new product offering under our Continuum license. It allows most anyone familiar with HTML or XML to create test scripts to test both websites and mobile apps for accessibility. I think this would potentially be a great fit for this use case you've outlined. Our customers can either create these scripts themselves, and/or we can create them on behalf of our customers as part of a separate Services offering.

This is definitely in the plans for Access Assistant. Our plan is to merge Continuum Explorer into Access Assistant in the near future and allow beginning to end mobile testing with Access Assistant. I have linked this Idea to the planned epics, so you can see updates as we design and plan the feature.
