There are two places for editing a pattern. One allows you to edit the patterns screen shots, the other allows you to edit the pattern name. These really should be a single pattern editing screen rather than two different screens with different functionality.

Pattern functionality is duplicated in Access Assistant, and we are making small improvements as possible. All investment in patterns for the foreseeable future, until we build a new and better platform, will be in the AST functionality.
